Honoring Excellence in High School Football
Spanish Springs High School head coach Rob Hummel received the prestigious Tom Flores High School Coach of the Year award from the Las Vegas Raiders. The award, named for legendary Raiders coach Tom Flores, recognizes outstanding leadership and dedication in developing young athletes.
Raiders Alumnus on Hand
Athletes for Care CEO and Raiders alumnus Robert Gallery made the presentation alongside Jordan Aguilar, the Raiders’ senior manager of football development. The ceremony took place at Spanish Springs in Sparks, Nevada.
Robert addressed the Spanish Springs football team during the event, framing the recognition as a reflection of the kind of leadership the next generation of athletes needs — leadership that prioritizes the long-term health and wellbeing of every player, not just the wins on Friday night. Following the official presentation, Coach Hummel spoke to his team about the meaning of the award.
