Career Highlights:

Tracy “Teresa” Shulman (also known as Somah) is a former professional figure skater and who competed Internationally from 1986 – 2007 as a World Professional competitor and performer with Ice Capades, leaving it following a knee injury. Somah went back to performing at Busch Gardens, Florida and then moved back to Minnesota/Colorado, where which she coached competitive athletes for 20+ years. In 2007, Somah completely left the world of figure skating.  In 2011, Somah met Anand Mehrotra and went to Rishikesh, India for a month, where she was given the opportunity to study privately, one-on-one with Mehrotra and discovered the healing power of Yoga/Ayurveda. (later evolved into essential oils) The name Somah, “one who brings Divine wisdom to others”, was given to her in 2013 by Mehrotra. Today, Somah continues her studies with Anand and travels throughout the world as a Master Aromatherapist. Somah is the founder of the AffirmativeYoga school and Savitur Botanicals, LLC, a line of fine, organic, bio-dynamically certified essential oils. Somah works as both a business owner and educator teaching individuals how to use the healing power of herbs and oils for physical, mental and emotional healing; in addition to her yoga/meditation classes and courses.
